Refund Policy

Effective April 2026 · Chapter 4 Interpreter · uedufy.com

In one sentence

If our engine invents a statistic, fabricates a reference, or produces a test result that does not match your original SPSS output, we refund your purchase in full within seven (7) days of the original purchase.

What is covered

A refund is issued when you can demonstrate any of the following in the interpretation you received:

  • Hallucinated statistics. A number reported in the interpretation that does not appear in your original SPSS output (for example, a regression coefficient of 0.58 reported when your SPSS output shows 0.62).
  • Invented references. Any citation to a paper, author, or publication that does not exist or cannot be verified in the published literature.
  • Fabricated test results. A test that was not performed in your original output being reported as if it were (for example, a Sobel test reported when no mediation analysis was performed).
  • Mismatched variable names. If the interpretation refers to variables or constructs not present in your original output.

What is not covered

The guarantee is tied specifically to accuracy. It does not apply to the following situations:

  • Preferences regarding writing style, tone, sentence structure, or paragraph length.
  • Supervisor feedback on using AI-assisted tools. The tool is framed as a learning aid; you are expected to verify and rewrite the output in your own academic voice before submission.
  • Change of mind, accidental purchase, or duplicate purchase after successful delivery of an interpretation.
  • Requests submitted more than seven (7) calendar days after the purchase date.
  • Situations where the original SPSS output cannot be provided for verification.
  • Unused interpretations. Both packs entitle you to a fixed number of interpretations (5 for Single, 20 for the Thesis Pack) that never expire; refunds for unused capacity are not issued unless a hallucination claim applies to a specific interpretation produced from the pack.

How to request a refund

  1. 1Email contact@uedufy.com with the subject line “Refund request — Chapter 4 Interpreter”.
  2. 2Attach your original SPSS output file (PDF or text) and the interpretation you received from the tool.
  3. 3Identify the specific hallucinated statistic, reference, or test result (for example, “paragraph three reports F = 60.19 but my SPSS output shows F = 58.42”).
  4. 4We review within two (2) business days. If the hallucination claim is verified, your refund is issued through the original payment method within five (5) business days.

Abuse and fraudulent claims

Refund claims found to be fraudulent (for example, claims where the reported hallucination does not appear in the delivered interpretation, or where the original SPSS output has been altered) will be denied. Accounts submitting repeated fraudulent claims may be permanently blocked from future purchases.
